Forest Fringe, Theatre 503 and The Factory are among the companies recently announced to be appearing at this year’s Latitude Festival.
Forest Fringe will bring Motor Vehicle Sundown – a self-contained audio installation for two people at a time in a parked car, Theatre 503 will perform PLAYlist and The Epic, while The Factory will present Round 2, a collection of new plays. Other additions to the arts line-up at the summer festival include Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, which will perform in the Cabaret Tent and Sadler’s Wells will again perform on the Waterfront Stage.
Meanwhile, the Lyric Hammersmith will return to the Theatre Tent with a new version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, condensed to one hour.
Latitude, a past winner of The Stage Award or Special Achievement in Regional Theatre, is an annual multi-arts form festival which takes place on the Suffolk coast. This year’s event is expected to attract 27,500 people and takes place from July 15-18.
