Steve Pemberton to join The Drowsy Chaperone
Steve Pemberton is set to join the cast of West End production The Drowsy Chaperone.
Pemberton will take over from Bob Martin as Man in Chair on July 10. He will star alongside Elaine Paige, who plays the title role, Summer Strallen, Nickolas Grace and Anne Rogers.
Pemberton is a member of the four-man team responsible for creating the cult hit The League of Gentlemen. In 2002, he played Marc in Art at the Whitehall Theatre, and his television work includes appearances on Death on the Nile, Shameless and Gormenghast.
Five-time Tony Award winning musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, opened at the Novello Theatre on June 6.
