Aberdeen’s eight openings

by -

Glasgow-based nightclub entrepreneurs Donald Macleod and Michele Pagliocca are expanding their empire with the launch of up to eight venues in Aberdeen.

The first will open in the autumn. The duo, who own Lettuce Holdings Group, also expect to acquire an English venue next year. In December they failed in a bid to save the Marquee in London.

“Our clubs in Glasgow are diverse and they each target a different musical market. That’s where our strength lies. We know our music and our clubs reflect that,” said Macleod.

“There have been big operators who have gone there before and failed. It is going to be competitive.”
