About Indhu Rubasingham

Indhu Rubasingham, will take the helm as Artistic Director and Co-Chief Executive of the National Theatre, from Spring 2025.  Prior to her appointment, award-winning director Rubasingham directed at numerous theatre’s nationwide and internationally as well as the National Theatre. She served as Artistic Director at Kiln Theatre for over a decade. The mission of the Kiln was bringing unheard/ignored voices into the mainstream transferring shows into both the west end and New York. During this period, Rubasingham led a 9millon pound capital campaign transforming the building and her team spearheaded an expansion of creative engagement work, putting their commitment to the local community and emerging artists at the very core of the theatre’s output.
