A season celebrating the charismatic working-class stars who light up our screens, at the BFI until October 6.
Bringing together the bold, powerful and provocative films that can be made when working-class stars have the chance to shine, the season includes classic films, from This Is England and Educating Rita to Bend It Like Beckham, with events and talks featuring stars such as Lesley Sharp and Samantha Morton.
