Exclusive first look: Debbie Tucker Green’s short film for Channel 4’s Random Acts

Playwright and director Debbie Tucker Green is among those commissioned by Channel 4 to direct an episode of its latest Random Acts series of short films.

Swirl, set to the Cocteau Twins’ Circling Girl, will be broadcast at midnight tonight. It stars Kara-Leah Fernandes Pascal.

Random Acts is C4’s short film strand dedicated to the arts, founded in 2011. It has featured work by creatives including Riz Ahmed, Zawe Ashton, Shia LaBeouf and Gemma Chan.
