Specialists in claiming Theatre Tax Credit
Creative Tax Reliefs Limited was formed by Graham Suggett, former Lead Tax Specialist with HMRC’s Creative Industries Unit. This unit is solely responsible for reviewing and approving all claims for Theatre Tax Relief made to HMRC, as well as encouraging the take up of the relief through advising accountants and working with representative bodies like UK Theatre, SOLT and NODA.
Seeing that too few theatre companies were claiming the tax credits available to them, particularly small and medium sized companies including charities, Graham left and set up Creative Tax Reliefs Limited in April 2017 in order to work directly with the companies themselves.
Creative Tax Reliefs has claimed over £1.4 million in tax credits for clients to date. Using Graham’s knowledge of the legislation and HMRC’s processes, our aim is to claim the maximum allowable whilst making your life as easy as possible.
"Graham explained very clearly what was needed and then delivered exactly as he said he would. Graham prepared the computations and submitted the claims on our behalf and we didn't have to deal with HMRC at all. This was the easiest piece of tax work that we have ever had to do" - Matthew Quirk of The Merry Opera Company.
Our UK wide clients include theatre companies producing a huge variety of theatrical productions including opera, ballet, contemporary dance, youth theatre, pantomime, Theatre in Education and amateur theatre.
Whether you are a commercial company, a charitable company or a not-for-profit company, Creative Tax Reliefs are here to help you claim the maximum tax credit to which you are entitled.
