Nicholas Antoniou-Tibbitts Nicholas Antoniou-Tibbitts

Nicholas Antoniou-Tibbitts, aged 11, from Hempstead, just outside Saffron Walden in Essex, has won The Stage Scholarship to attend Sylvia Young Theatre School full-time for five years, worth a total value of £70,000.

He said: “Surprised, shocked, stunned, happy and proud: just a few of the feelings I had when I received the phone call from Sylvia Young to tell me I had won this year’s scholarship!

“I am so grateful to her and everyone involved in the auditions for seeing the potential in me and choosing me for this amazing opportunity.

“I am really looking forward to going to the school, where all the other children are passionate about the same things as I am. I hope to make everyone who believes in me very proud. Thank you Sylvia Young and The Stage.”
