The Stage/D&B School of Performing Arts Scholarship 2016 winner
Markeisha Muir, 19, from Wakefield, has won The Stage Scholarship to attend the D&B School of Performing Arts, through which she will receive £24,975 funding towards attending the three-year full-time musical theatre diploma course.
She said: “I can’t believe a 19-year-old from a deprived background can actually get a scholarship to her dream stage school. I’m absolutely ready for this new chapter. I feel so thankful.”
