The Stage/Stella Mann College of Performing Arts Scholarship winner 2015
Hamish Ross, 16, from Kettering, Northamptonshire has won The Stage Scholarship to Stella Mann College of Performing Arts and will be attending the school’s three-year diploma in performing arts. He said: “When I got the phone call from the school, I couldn’t believe it. I was shocked and happy all at the same time. I’ve worked so hard over the past three years with my dancing, and it is such a privilege to be given this opportunity to train with so many talented teachers and fellow students.
“I’m looking forward to putting 100% effort into all my classes. My mum and dad, who have always worked so hard to do their best for me, would never have been able to fund this, so I will not be taking the scholarship for granted. I can’t wait to start my first year at Stella Mann, and would like to thank the principal and teachers plus The Stage for giving me this fantastic opportunity.”
