Just testing...
lost loppy signing in - old blog not working - signpost please Scott:-)
Thank you Scott Dear - much, much quicker!! Almost first this time!
Am putting this in again in case it gets lost in the move and its VIP news from the Forum - Sunday Times special performance for Lee's leaving on 4th Dec - get booking girls!
http://pub29.bravenet.com/forum/2462310622/show/918593
Lost a comment on old blog, another on here and then had to log in again. Have been trying to access the old blog for the past 1.5 hours unsucessfully - was afraid work had blocked the site, hate it when that happens. Can't remember what I was going to post now!
Thanks for the new, almost spotless page, Scott.
I've turned red! Haven't a clue how that happened.
LOL I found the new blog by accident do I get the gold award?? - leaving my puter switched on til tonight then the repair man is coming Thursday sometime so review hopefully late Thurday - emails are working. Waiting for my friend to arrive now and too excited to do much else ..hope to see some of you in a day or so:-)
Thanks for the smart new home Scott.
Have a wonderful time Carys. Hope your puter gets better. Looking forward to your review.
oh that's different the red links to my live journal page and speaking of red I will bring a certain item to London to hand to the first person I see who is going on 18th .
Thank you Scott for the lovely new home! Clever girl Carys finding it without the aid of a map! Are you going somewhere nice this week (he! he!)
Ali congratualtions on the wheight loss! Well done lass!
Thanks for that info Shirley2
Thank you Scott dear.
I can report a problem right now. When I had written my first post here, I was signed in and all that, but when I submitted, I was taken straight to the punishment department, told Text Entered Was Wrong. I WASN'T ASKED TO ENTER A TEXT ! Then told to go back to the original entry where I now am. I now have to go through all the signing up rigmarole again. I think I'm loosing the will to live!
I've turned red too, and all it leads to is a page for my id.signing ? I think your big black box thingy still is a bit confused, Scott dear!
Hm, I had to do the log out and in thing too. Had a scary moment when it didn't recognise me, but fortunately I remembered the secret password. Phew!
Congrats, Ali and Carys and anyone else who's overdue some back-patting. And ohms, too, for anyone who might need them. (K2, hope you're feeling better). Anyway, ohmmmmm!
I spent the day imagining the GO singing Marc Bolan songs. OK, I know it was only a workshop, but think of it: bare torso, long curls, and great songs. I'd go! But Theatre Monkey seems to be betting on Billy still.
I had a nice surprise when I came home today: got an invite from DCU to attend graduation for my diploma. I won't get the degree for another two years, but I've accumulated enough credits to get the dip, which is wonderful. Just shows the past four years were all worth while and makes the next two a little easier to face.
Me too Eva had to sign in again.Afternoon Loppies , we are very happy bunnies here ploppy and I as we have passed the secret target re raffle it is now over 3K brilliant brilliant and all that without outsifde help virtually as we are dtill waiting reply to our request on Caron site!.
Now I shall have to rack my little brain to find something to push it to its maximum. Oh will be going to London with a singing heart.
well done loosing that weight , on the contrary managed to put under 10pounds on in thew last 8 weeks it took me over six monthes to loose! ah well will be facing the horrid banding if it does not shift again and that is in spite of all the walking and gym 2x a week.
Tomorrow we are London bound and we are going with our heart singing. see you all later xxx
Scott dear has made this little competition. Mind you, there are a lot the program doesn't like:

Evening all
A nice new, quick, home. Thank you Scott.
Exactly the same thing happened to me too Eva.
Geri - funny you should mention Marc Bolan. A work colleague, who it has to be said is something of a wind-up merchant, keeps looking at my photo of Lee and asking me why I have a picture of Marc Bolan on my desk!!
Congratulations Geri. Well done. I'm very impressed.
Lindsey/Jane - yes but Chris in the loincloth didn't have quite the same effect somehow!!!!
Ali - well done. Good for you.
Carys - have a wonderful time.
Ohms for all in need and especially to keep the nasty bugs away before the weekend.
Oooooh a lovely new home thankyou Scott dear. Just look we're all blushing! Maidenly modesty i guess. What? Whose laughing?
Just back from taking Sloppy to the doctor and we're back on the anti-biotics again as she has another infection, sigh. Never mind don't think it is too bad yet so hopefully she should improve quite quickly.
I used to like Marc Bolan, appealed to the theatrical side of me I think, or maybe it was the curls! I could live with that.
Booo! I just got kicked out as well! However it did recognise me and I had copied my post thank goodness, thanks for the warning!
Look what Carys found!:
http://www.livevideo.com/video/gguider/AC61A83F61164540A99A65E9D9A00527/puppet-singing-how-can-i-be-su.aspx
Geri,- who's a clever laureate then? Congratulations. You so deserve it!
Ali,- there'll be nothing left of you soon if you keep this up. Good on you!
Geri, how proud of you are we! Well done, but you work so hard it is no more than you deserve.
Eva, the voice is great, shame about the visuals!
Chantale well done! That's excellent news - have a great time in London! (going to see a show by any chance?)
Geri you clever Loppy! Well done! We're proud of you!
Pauline - sorry to hear sloppy is back on antibotics again - Ohmmmmmms for her!
Karen - you mentioned Chris in the loincloth! Now I'll have to think of something to chase the image away! Mmmmm the Go as Marc Bolan - that'll do!
Pauline2 sorry to hear about your Mother.
Geri congratulations, you really are a clever Lady.
Hello, I followed you to our new house, thanks Scott.
I can’t hardly belief that within a couple of days I am off to London, Baby!!!!
It is going so fast now. I am already so excited. Got some English ponds on Saturday and they were quite cheap. So I think I shopping will be the main activity after seeing the GO of course. I know my priorities.
Geri - episode 6 was again a great read. Chapeau!
Yesterday the quarterfinal of the search of Joseph. Only two episodes left. We re still hoping for a sighting of Lee on the programme. As long it is not next week cause cause I will be there were the one and only Joseph h is. London Baby!!!
Eva I have got for you the two links to the performances from Freek.
One is in Dutch from the Wizz and the other one in English from Jekyl and Hyde.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7GblPZ9PZA
Freek is first, the second performer is John. He has a great voice but I think he lacks something in his performances.
Another one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAHcSVzzDaE
Freek is first; the second performer is Mathijs, who lost the sing off yesterday.
This link is to a clip of the five Joseph who are left doing a group number.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LegbOCuMYaw
Oh dear, lost a post this afternoon, a message about text being incorrect, then had to sign in just now, hope all will be OK this time.
Thanks for info re Dec 4th Shirley2, was worried for a moment that GO was going to disappear after that, I thought about getting a ticket but think I'll wait 'til the real last night in Jan. Fingers crossed that submitting will work.
Thanks for all the support -- you're all just lovely.
Ohms to your mum, Pauline.
Hope all goes well for your trip, Anne. Ah, getting to see the GO -- that'll be fabulous for all of us. Anyone need a little Marc B reminder? Check this out (and picture the GO in that shirt!):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdbSDOn7dNU
Phew - got chucked out when I pressed submit and then couldn't remember password and had to reset it!
OK - firstly congratulations to our Lepry Laureate Extraordinaire! Secondly Chantale - that's brilliant, onwards and upwards. I am now suffering with cold and feeling very sorry for myself, hopefully it will decide to go before the weekend (arrrggghh!). Not going to rehearsal tonight, but will sit at home taking the tablets and probably slope off early to bed.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmms for Carol, that cold will go, no way will you miss this weekend, no way!
Thanks for the ohhhmmms for my Mum. The poor thing, it's wretched for her so she will appreciate them! Mind not sure she'll have a clue what I'm on about!
Hi all,
Haven't had a chance to pop in for awhile.
Just wanted to say "Hi" to anyone going on the 18th. See you there :)
Hi Ringer, how nice to see you again. So that will be nearly all of us I think! See you then, in 5 sleeps, wooohoooo!
Oh Carol, you simply must get better, I suggest to swallow the tablets you have a hot toddy, then early night, at least the whisky will help you sleep.
Ohms for Carol.
Ohms for Pauline's Sloppy.
Fantastic, well gone, supercalifragerlisticexpialidocious to Geri.
And just for Geri
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7iArJm9gBvg
Hi Ringer, see you soon.
Thanks for the heads up Shirley2 but as I'm going the week before I don't think Ploppy would be too happy.
Hi Anne, thanks for your links.
Off now to look.
Anne,- thank you for the links to Freek. He sure is lovely! In the first clip the presenter says that we've now seen that Freek can sing and dance, let's see if he can act! And he can! He sings This Is the Moment, and the female judge is nearly jumping out of her skin!
Carol,- get well soon, sooner, soonest! Let Baby Boss look after himself for a couple of days!
Chantale,- £3000 is fantastic. I know Lee will be so proud!
Hi Ringer,- will look out for you on Saturday. Hope you have a good flight.
Shirley2,- I was very tempted to book, but when I started counting how many more times I'm going to see the show, I told myself not to. I can be very strict!
Karen,- Chris in a loincloth? Purleeeeeese!
Hi all and thanks for the links. Just gone a touch mad (call it grief, it was hard coming home tonight) see you, Shirley2, on 4th Dec.
Carys, I've emailed you, hope she hasn't left yet.
Scott, thank you for our new home, even if I have just lost a post. It wasn't very exciting anyway
Ohhmmm, Carol! I do hope you're dosing yourself with copious amounts of alcohol -- simply as a means of killing the germs, you understand...
Hi Ringer, nice to see you. Maybe we'll do it in the flesh one of these days.
Thanks for that link, Kathleen -- bless, how young was he then (as were we all!) It was just lovely of you to think of me; much appreciated.
Forgot to say 'Hi Ringer' and see you soon
Carol, get well very soon OOOHHHHHHmmmmmssss
Geri, well done, do we have to curtsey when we see you?
OK, I know you are all really keen to see the new stats for the blog, so I've sent them to Martin.
I feel some h**vering coming on. Oh dear, when my mum died I cleaned nearly the whole house. Back later.
Aw Jo - we're thinking of you!
OOOHHHMMMMSS Carol - you can't be poorly now!
Hi there Ringer! Hope we get at chance to meet on the 18th!
Good night Loppies!
Jo4,- the kitchen cupboards too?
There is a new series starting on ITV; Wired. Will check it out.
Thinking of you, Jo; you're not alone with all of us loppies around. Perhaps we should send Dr Mead around? Oh, and no, you don't have to curtsey -- but feel free to ply me with copious amounts of alcohol!
Off to the books. Sweet Meads, all.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again or for the first time as well (someday, geris:)
Thanks for the youTube clips, Anne. I forgot the Dutch Joseph was going on now.
Keep warm Carol! Get lots of vitimin C and gargle with salt water.
Hello everybody
My name is Sue and I am a friend of Carys. I am very much a LOPPY. I live in France and at the moment my husband and I are staying with Carys and her husband for a week. Tomorrow we catch the train to London to see the GO. He is very GO!!! In fact we are seeing him tomorrow night and Wednesday afternoon - can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!
Look forward to reading your comments.
Oh, enjoy the show, SueL :) Is this your first time? It's an amazing show.
Evening all, lots of red I see.
I have recieved the latest stats from Jo4, and they are now online in the Miscellaneous album.
Eva, did you remember from a previous post, that even in deepest distress I didn't do the kitchen cupboards, as you might remember I believe they are self cleaning, like the oven.
Thanks Geri for the Dr Mead suggestion, not really up to it (him) although I might take a little dose on Weds. After all it would be rude to be so close and not to go. Would it not? Don't worry there is no danger of a overdose, even with the weekend coming up.
Knock, knock can I come in?
OOooooohhhhmmmmms Carol for your cold, and for your Mum Pauline.
Well done Geri, keep going I'm sure you'll be a Prof. one day!
Nice to hear from you again Ringer, see you on the 18th, and welcome SueL to the mad world of Loppydom.
Think I'll watch a soupcon of ADWD just to whet my appetite for Saturday, oooh getting v.excited.
Karen2, never thought about the night bus, what a good idea.
Eva, it was me who recommended Gervaise Phinn, hope you enjoy the book.
Ali, well done on the weight loss, and ohhhmmmsss that you don’t get the lurgy.
Geri, well done you!!!!
Pauline2 ohhhmmsss for your Sloppy.
Hi Ringer, looking forward to meeting you at the weekend.
Carol, have some ohhhmmmsss. You must be well in just 5 SLEEPS.
Was very tempted by December 4th, but as Ploppy doesn’t know about November or December yet, it’s more than I dare do!
Thanks for the new home Scott, just keeping fingers crossed when I submit this post.
Good news on the raffle target, and I still haven’t bought the winning one!
Thinking of you Jo.
Nite nite Loppies. x
Bloomin' eck, that took a bit of sorting out, I'd forgotten my password and it didn't like all my efforts to remember it, I was begining to think I was homeless.
Really going now.
Jo4,- I thought you might have forgotten, but I see there is no danger of that. I wish you would tell me where you bought those cupboards!
Suel,- welcome to the blog. I hope you and Carys have a brilliant time of it.
Sue 1,- and so it was. I'll start on the book tonight, so I'll let you know what I think.
It's getting late. Time for my bed and book. Good night all, sleep tight, have wonderful dreams and wake up happy.
Hi SueL and welcome. You are in for the best few days, enjoy every minute, and wave from us please!
Jo4, lots of virtual hugs for you. Hope a little visit on Wed 'somewhere' helps for a while.
Lots of ohhhhhmmms for Carol. And ohhhhhhhmmmms that we are all fighting fit for the weekend!
Off to bed so sleep tight all night night.
Phew! The door opened at last. I guessed I'd have to sign in again like everyone else (got the text error message too) Thanks for the new home Scott, I quite like being a scarlet woman!!
Congrats Geri and Chantale & Nicholas, great news
Oohhmms to Jo, Carol and K2, and your ploppy Jane.
I shut my eyes for 5 minutes this afternoon and was woken up by eldest scollop 2 hours later!! He found nephew and scollops all asleep too, I think it freaked him out a bit, he said it was like a scene from Sleeping Beauty.
Thanks for the link Shirley2, but I won't even look at it as I can't possibly go. I'm saving myself for Jan 10th, when I'm most definitely staying over. I've pre-booked time off work and babysitters already!
I stayed up to watch 'Ghost' last night (Dirty Dancing next week) so should really go to bed now. Have a fab few days in London Carys, going anywhere nice??
Who was that at 10.17? I didn't see anyone come in, have they lost so much weight they've disappeared? Seriously Ali, well done.
Sue1-I have to re login every few days, so I don't forget my password. Actually I have it saved, so I copy and paste.
Got to go now, must put in some extra hours so I can leave a little early on Weds, have an appointment ............
Nightlee night
Ooh lots more posts while I was typing. Hello SueL (waves) and Ringer, looking forward to meeting you. And I forgot oohhmms for your sloppy Pauline, hope she improves quickly. My sloppy spent most of the day asleep, very unusual for her so she must have been feeling rough. I sent eldest scollop round to walk the dog for her and asked my sis to call in on her way home too. I'll check on her in the morning.
OK I'm really going now, night night.
I've lost yet another post, that's at least the third today. I was signed in but got chucked out when clicked submit. I give up for tonight, too tired to retype. Ohhmmmms to Jo, Carol, Pauline and anyone else in need. Night.
Oh Dear I'm very late in again!
Thanks for the new home Scott - a very cheeky headline for us I think! Hope you get all the glitches sorted soon.
Carol, ooooohhhhmmmmsss a plenty whisking your way, can't be poorly now! ooooohhhhms.....ooooooohhhmmmms
OOOOHHmmms for your Sloppy too Pauline, lets hope the antibi's kick in quickly for her.
Jo, been thinking of you so much, heres mega oooohhhhmmms for you. x
Hi Ringer and Anne, nice to see' you and welcome to our lovLEE home SueL. catch you guys over the next few days.
Congratulations Geri, it so good to get that recognition and encouragement after all your hard work.
And Ali, you must share your secret because like Chantale , I just seem to put weight on these days!
Shirley2 , thanks for sharing the Jo offer. Lin and I booked our next trip last week when? 5th to 8th Dec! missed that special offer...drat! but have trains etc already booked. We are taking our Dollops with us - they have to experience the Meadiness!!!
Oh and BTW, of course you are all invited to Liverpool!
Must to bed, hope I have a nicer dream than last night. Eva and I had a quarrel over...would you believe ....a craft activity - we differed on how to make something! I hold ch 6 responsible!!! Now what could I dream about tonight....I'l try for the GO as Marc Bolan - drifts off....
TTFN
Ali, I did chuckle at your Sleeping Beauty event -- have you been peeking ahead to chapter seven?
Welcome, SueL,glad to have you. I have no doubt you'll find the GO as amazing as we do. We want a full report please!
Ohming for all our sickly or distressed loppies (ploppies. sloppies etc): Ohmmmmm...
Good morning, BHB, what's this, still asleep? Ohh, Carol won't like that -- she's expecting the breakfast to be made and everything ready when she gets up. What, you want to snuggle before you get started. Oh, heck! A loppy's duty is never done. Push over!!
Good Morning all!
SueL Hello and welcome! Have a fabulous time at the show, both you and Carys, and remember it's your Loppy duty to give us a full report!
Looking forward to seeing you again Ringer!
I forgot to say last night Anne - thanks for those links to the Dutch Jo - it looks like it's been a fun competition!
Jo & Martin thanks for the stats.
Ali - I'm glad someone let you in!
Diana - I loose posts so often that I always copy mine.
Ooohhmmming for everyone in need.
And can I be greedy and ask for a few more for me? I hoping to see someone about a new job shortly and I've got fingers and toes crossed (I've offically lost my current job and need to be re-deployed)
Morning BHB - have you finished snuggling Geri? Can I have a turn?
Morning.
I also resisted temptation and haven't booked for 4 Dec - the tickets are actually more expensive but you get some freebies. Anyway I'm already going that week.
Well done Ali. Wish I could lose some weight and keep it off, I lose a few pounds but then put it back on again. I started a diet yesterday - lasted all of four hours. I looked through our Bermuda photos and there's one of me side on in shorts - not a pretty sight. Maybe I should pin it up as encouragement.
My parents brought some photos with them, some for me to keep, and we looked through them last night. They are from their wedding, me and my brother when we were little, family including my grandparents, and some more recent ones of my nieces. There was one of my class when I was about seven. I thought I'd changed a lot but gave it to Ploppy and he picked me out almost immediately.
I'd love a snuggle too, and another snooze, the one on the train wasn't long enough.
Morning all. Bright skies and a hesitant sun outside today. Yesterday it rose to 22(!) degrees here. Maybe the same today?
Hello sweetheart. Have been busy snuggling, have you? JaneE popped in? I told you. she can't go to work in the morning without seeing you! Now I'll tell you what,- the night shift and a friend is coming up to London today. They are going to see GO in his show. Now you are always telling us you'll be there too. Now I've never seen you, but.........no huffing off now, this is too important, if you see them, please look after them, will you? They don't get to see him as often as many of us do, so it's important they have a good time. Give them extra drinks and charge them to me, will you?
So what's for breakfast today? The usual? And that is? Scrambled, boiled, fried or poached eggs, bacon, fried mushrooms, hash brown, sausages, black pudding, fried tomatoes? ? ? ? ? Are you trying to kill me? I'll be good, and have a poached egg on toast, 1/2 grapefruit and my usual leaded, please. See, you can't tempt me! Very strong willed, I am (fingers crossed on back!).
Hoe about you joining me on the sofa and we can read the paper together? Blanket? Yes, the blue one, please. Pauline2 has said we can use it if we fold it properly afterwards.
It's Cliffy's birthday today ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CLIFF BABY!
Terry Wogan said so on Radio 2 and played a nice Cliffy song.
JaneE,- oh, so sorry to hear about your job. You need ohms for your interview, so take as many as you want. We'll all be thinking of you!
Hi Diana, didn't see you there. You snuck in while I was writing.
Scott dear,-couldn't you (or your clever IT people) invent some warning sign saying "They're behind you!" if someone posts at the same time time as me?
I love looking at old photos. I have a "family wall" in my house where I have photos of family members going all the way back to my great grandparents in their youth. It gives one a sense of continuity and belonging, don;t you agree?
Forgot to send ohmms to Jane for her job ohhhhhmmmmmm
...morning and thank you for the oooooohhhhhhhmmmmmsss - have struggled in as it is Baby Boss's only day in the office this week, so need to get things organised and possibly book him a flight to....guess where - Cairo! SueL welcome and enjoy the show (no chance you won't!). BHB has kindly offered to do all the catering today as I am below par, so you are all in his capable hands (now, now!). I'll just take him into the kitchen (ok won't get too near, promise!) and sort out rest of week just in case....
Just popping in before I dash off to my Sloppy. Good thing I did as I see JaneE needs lots of ohhhhhhmmmmms, and Carol is at work, poor thing so lots of ohhhhhhhhmmmmmmms for you as well.
Morning BHB I see you have been well and truly snuggled this morning! I know I'm in a hurry but always time for a snuggle with you, we'll use the red blanket I think.
Morning all
Just caught up (again) OOHHHHMMMMMS for poorly Loppies …..Lots of hot toddy’s and pills is the order of the day I think!
Geri, well done you (what next, you clever Loppie)
Pauline, Ooohhhmmms for your Sloppy, I hope she will be ok
Ali, I also had a giggle at your scollops sleeping beauty remark
SueL enjoy the show (I know you will)
Right must go to bed now, I was working last night, ooh…. just remembered Ooohhhmmms for JaneE (Job interview)
PS
For poorly Loppies with colds, I have in the past used Benylin Day and Night Tablets( all in the one packet, you have a different tablet for night time) which worked very well
Oh Jane lots of ooohhmms for your interview, hope you get the job.
Hope Carol is feeling better this morning, and Jo4, I was sorry to hear that you are still "down".
Carys hope you have a lovely time In London, and hopefully the weather will stay dry.
Jane, everything crossed for you and the new job, it's not good being 'redeployed' when it's not your choice.
Hope you're feeling a bit brighter Jo, only a few days now until a great big fat treat!
Carol, dose up well on that Benylin or large quantities of incohol is also very good for colds.
Have a great time Carys and SueL, look forward to your reviews.
Just been having a little look back. Notice your hint about Sleeping Beauty and chapter 7 Geri. Intriguing, are all the loppies going to be put to sleep like Lady Jane? If so and we have to be kissed by a handsome King to wake up, I'm getting sleepy already!
Oh bxxger, just lost my post. Start again.
Maggie, thanks for the tip about the Benylin tablets, they're a new one on me.
Jane, ohhhmmmsss for the job, and Good Luck as well.
Ohhhmmmsss as well for everyone who needs them. We can't have poorly Loppies this weekend!
Ok, off to do the ixxning, where does it all come from?? Back later.
Another nice walk done. I didn't do my usual seafront walk in Deal, but took the car and drove a bit further away. I like something new to look at once in a while. As we have miles and miles of beaches here, changing the scenery now and again is not difficult. It's getting cloudy now, so maybe I just got the nice bit of the day.
Pauline2,- Diva asked me to tell you to tell Praline that if she (Diva) is going to sleep in the story, she plans to do it in the King's bed. She is the Mistress of the Bedchamber after all! (Yes,- she is in one of her poshy, pushy moods at the moment!)
Hello! Just testing this works as I was unceremoniously chucked out!! If this works - thanks for the new home Scott and for picking a spot without a video as it kills my computer at home!!
Eva, now why am I not surprised that Diva wants THE bed! However our illustrious author may have other ideas for her!
Pauline2,- if Diva doesn't get her way, I'm sure you'll hear her protests loud and clear without the help of loudspeakers! I hope our esteemed authoress will have this in mind when she writes it. I have to live with the noise!
Thanks for the warning Eva, I'll look out some earplugs!
Must pop into town, so be good and I'll be back!
Good afternoon.
Happy Birthday Sir Cliff.
Ohms for Carol, Pauline's Sloppy, Jane and Jo.
Good luck with the job Jane. You'll need the money for the tour tickets.
It's very overcast here today, not nice at all.
Oh Sucks! I posted at lunchtime but it seems to have got lost!
I can't quite remember what I said, but I know I included OOOOHHHSSS for Carol.
And thanks to everyone for their OOHHHHMMMSS for my (unofficial) interview - unfortunatly it got cancelled, but I'm still in the frame for the job, so fingers are crossed!
Hi Ali B you made it to the new house!
Now Pauline and Eva - you'll have to be patient and wait for chapter 7 (I can give you a hint - a handsome King does appear in it)
OOOHHMMS for poorly Loppies and Pauline’s Sloppy and all others in need
Sue1, Benylin D/N Tablets are £3.99 at Boots (just checked) found some reviews
http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/health-misc/benylin-day-and-night-cold-treatment/reviews/
Happy Birthday Sir Cliff
Off to work again tonight, then no more work until next week, I should have been working this weekend (booked time off again for G O) but I have somewhere to go!!!
JaneE,- it's not that we are impatient. We only want to help the revered authoress in case she gets writer's block!
It's pure kindness, isn't it, Pauline?
Must I?
Yes!
Really?
Yes, go on.....
Sorry, evening all
I was just having an argument with myself and my nice side (yes I do have one!) won, so - Happy Birthday Sir Cliffy!!!
Carol - oh no - ohmmmmmmssssssss to you and all other poorly sick loppies - we need to banish the nasty bugs before the weekend.
Ohms to your Sloppy too Pauline.
Jane - sorry your interview got cancelled but glad you're still in line for the job. Good luck with that and have all the ohms you need. Tell them I'll come to Leeds and bash them over the head if they don't give you the job!
Jo4 - sorry to hear you're feeling down, it does take time to get over these things and we're all here for you.
Hi Ringer, Hi Anne and Welcome SueL.
Evening all. How sickening JaneE, you get yourself all ohhhmmm'd up, then they cancel the interview. Never fear loads more ohhhhmmms where those came from, and fingers crossed as well.
Went to town to go to the bank, just checking it was still there, and ended up helping end the downturn in the economy and buying two tops and a handbag. Felt I should do my bit!
You are right Eva, not impatience at all just ummm, helping our esteemed Laureate!
Hi All, I've had a day that could best be described as challenging. Awake since three with awful nightmares and then a pretty rough day in the W--- place. So addled this morning I didn't even wish Sir Cliff a happy b-day. And in his honour, Eva, you can tell your alter ego if she misbehaves the Loppy Laureate may take Cliff's advice and 'Lock her up in a trunk so no big hunk can steal her away from Lee...'
Got to get something to eat (and drink!) back in a bit.
Geri,- sorry you've had a rotten day. Diva sends her regards and told me to tell you that
NOBODY MESSES WITH THE DIVA ,- big hunk or not! Then she asked me in an aside who this big hunk is!
Karen,- on behalf of Sir Cliffy we thank you! We are touched!
Good luck for the interview Jane. Oohhmms to Carol and Geri. The dreaded bug has hit me this afternoon, can't put my finger on it exactly but I just feel very odd-lightheaded, tired and nauseous (and no I'm not pregnant before anyone asks!!) Sloppy is feeling the same, as is a friend. Fortunately scollops are feeling better. I should be at Brownies tonight but really couldn't face the little darlings!
Sorry, can't face staring at the screen any longer so I'll bid you all a goodnight and see you tomorrow.
Been waiting in for a parcel all day.(Well Ploppy was in while I went to work, and then I rushed home and he went to work) and it arrived at 6:30! I had given up and was getting very CROSS as I paid for next day delivery.
Happy Birthday to Sir Roger Moore, 81 today. Used to watch him in Ivanho.
I'm sure Sir Cliffy will be pleased to get your best wishes Karen.
Oooooohhhhhhhhmmmmmsssssss for tomorrow Jane.
Hope Carol is feeling a bit better, but Ooooooohhhhhhmmmmsssssssss for you as well. You can't be poorly at the weekend.
Hugs for Jo and hope you are feeling more like yourself.
Only 4 more sleeps!!!!!!!! I keep singing that song from Summer Holiday when they're getting the bus ready. Am I getting excited? Just a BIT.
Better see to dinner. Bys for now.
Forgot to mention that there's an interview with CO on BBC
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7667936.stm
and he mentions he enjoys hxxxering and ixxxxxg! Perhaps we could arrange to send him round the Loppies.
oh Ohhhmmmmmmmmms for Ali - that's how my germs started! Lady Jane sorry your interview got cancelled afer you had psyched yourself up for it, but good you are still in the frame. (Happy Birthday Sir C) Geri sorry you had a bad night (hoping to have a better one myself tonight too). Have to go to rehearsal as we have the photo for the local paper to contend with this evening.......I will look delightful! Maggie thanks for the info on the Benylin - didn't go out today (in fact have been incommunicado as our system has been down all day so no internet access apart from first thing!) but will get down to Boots tomorrow!
Kathleen I am NOT going to be sent to the CO..... ah, see what you mean, tee hee!
Ohhhhmmmms for Ali but hopefully will go quickly.
Ohhhhhhhmmmmmmms for Carol, go away cold.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmms that nobody else gets anything, especially me! Oooh was that a tad selfish? sorry!
Big hug for Jo4.
Ok I'll say Happy Birthday Sir Cliffy as well.
Hangs head and shuffles back in. Geri ohhhhhmmmms for you. You have had a horrid day. I hope you sleep better tonight.
Eva: Ronnie Corbett.
Hi everyone,
OOOOh Carys and SueL will be rather excited now do you think? This time tomorrow Lin!!!
Ooooohhhmmms for all ailing loppies tonight, more oooohhmmms for your interview Jane.
Have a relaxing evening Geri, you deserve it.
Thanks, all. My big boss is trying to cut my department in half so my staff are very upset and I'm trying to find a way to protect their jobs without jeapordising my own. Not fun.
On to happier things: would you prefer chapter seven to go out Friday night or after the 'fest, probably Sunday night? Lady Jane's excelled herself again with another couple of stunning pictures (and some fun clues to... never mind, she can tell you), but she's a bit miffed because the illustrious author had the temerity to suggest cutting one of the pictures -- the nerve!
Geri,- I see Diva isn't the only one who's not to be messed with.
JaneE,- stand up for your artistic freedom! As if anyone should even try to interfere!
Geri,- Do you think RC is man enough for Diva?
Ali,- take all the remedies that has been suggested here, and then some! Please, we want you in London on Saturday!
Geri, on the other hand, if this is what you have in mind:

Oh what a misery, Loppies who are sick in this important week.
That can't be. A whole lot of Ohmmmmmmmmms for all of us and a scope more for them who are poorly. We need to be top fit.
Jane E - very nerve wrecking to have a job interview and than have it cancelled. Good luck!
What is it about w**k places these days. It is giving us to much stress. Good luck to you too Geri.
Just two days to go and I am off to London baby!!!
Thank you again for all the OHHMMING - time to pay some back-
Carol OHHHHHMMMM - Ali OOOHHHMMMM - Pauline OOOOHHMMM - Jo4 OOOHHHMMMMMM - Geri OOOHHHMMMMM. Anyone I've missed OOOHHHHMMM
OK If Karen can do it so can I (mumbles very quickly) Happy Birthday Cliff.
Now, what the illustrious author has failed to explain is that after the Graphics Dept came up with 3 little piccies for chapter 7 - SHE asked for another one of a different scene as well. The GD worked all Monday evening on piccy no 4 and guess what! It's not what our Iillustrious Author wanted. The Grpahics Dept is now going to explain why she is miffed to the Illustrious Author - with the aid of an axe!
Ooo Anne! Have a good trip to London!
I hope Carys and Suel are enjoying themselves!
Ouch! Ouch! Stop hitting!! That Graphics Dept is so physical! Just because the writing dept took issue with one teensy weensy picture -- you just can't get good help these days!
Wow, that was some link, Eva! Hm, maybe King Lee needs to go for a swim in a lake. And here, all I had in mind was Diva helping him out of his soaking clothes and having to rub him briskly with some towels just to get the circulation back...
Geri if it is not putting too much stress on the Graphics Dept. I vote for Friday. Will be so excited it would be good to have something else fantastic to focus on. But if it is Sunday, something fab to come home too, oooh this is tricky!
Oh dear I see Diva is having anither hissy fit.
Carol is the picture going to be in the UG????
Hope all the poorly Loppies are soon feeling better, and I forgot too, Happy Birthday Cliff, ( how old actually is he)???????
Geri,- HOLD THAT THOUGHT ! ! ! ! ! !
JaneE,- GET DRAWING ! ! ! ! !
Huh! I would Eva, but what with these tempremantal authors changing their minds...
Jane, that was funny, the post, I mean. Sorry that your interview was cancelled, get yourself all prepared and then nothing, very annoying.
Do you know what, with my planning, extra hours at work and rushing and cleaning, I forgot what today was. Happy Birthday Cliffy. (68, does that mean he's really 34? Would be nice as I'm 27.)
Oh dear, ill Loppies before the weekend. OOOOOHHHHHHHMMMMMsssss for all. You MUST be well.
Thank you for all your thoughts. I'm taking drastic measures to improve my sadness. Off to London tomorrow late afternoon.
Jo4,- what a good cure for sadness and grief,- see the GO! Well, you know what you have to do, and I'll switch on my mobile so you can send reports.
JaneE,- never mind the author! If she doesn't want to use it, I will! Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh......Diva washing the King, drying him off tenderly. THUD! (That was me falling to the floor!)
Geri - sorry to hear you had such a bad day, what an awful situation. More ohms coming your way!!
Jo - did you miss a 1 from the front of Cliffy's age!?
Friday or Sunday - ooo I agree with Pauline, tricky one, but I'd be happy with either!
