The best way to describe this new musical is that it could be the bastard offspring of High School Musical and The Rocky Horror Show.

Containing every cliched line of dialogue and time-worn scary happening from every horror teen flick in existence and songs that scrape the bottom of the musical barrel, it’s great fun.
This premiere production from The Heather Brothers is directed by Bob Carlton, past master of every theatrical trick in the book.
Mark Walters’ cobwebby, galleried old theatre set is a marvel of hard work by John Ayers and Christine Bradnum’s inhouse teams. Details are perfect including the galleries and peeling wallpaper lovingly applied to auditorium walls which involve audiences in the action.
It’s a very busy show with sound and lighting by Rick Clarke and Matthew Eagland’s teams’ thunder rumbling, voice distortion and flashes of lightning.
Backed up by Laura Collins’ stage management team in charge of the fx bloody entrails.
The highly energetic, well bonded, over the top cast of actor musicians includes Elliott Harper’s saturnine Matt, musical director Julian Littman as useless drama teacher Mr Reynolds and Pam Jolley as Leanne.
This theatre is known for having fun with this sort of entertaining trash where the script is cliche after cliche, and this is one of their best.
