Families and friends love this version of Peter Pan and whip up an amazing storm of enthusiasm.
Jon Lee is just right for the boy who never grew up. Claire Marlowe performs well as Wendy and clearly enjoys her flying world tour. Popular Steve Furst is watchable, cheeky and assisted by reliable Stephen McGlynn as time keeper.
There is a bunch of dodgy pirates and the outrageously frightening but lonely Captain Hook played by Neil Brennan. Debbie Lee Simmons is a real Mrs Darling to Brennans Mr Darling. A lovely couple.
The opening London scene in traditional clothes is excellent, bettered only by the Red Indian Camp Party with tap-dancing Indians in top form.
The revolving set shows The Jolly Roger ship on one side and the Thunderbirds cave on the other. Local children play the Lost boys in various teams, Paddy Gree is inside a huge Nana dog and the most gorgeous crocodile does not come on enough. They all work hard assisted by Phil Hornsy’s trio.
