This production of Cinderella is a wonderful spectacle from beginning to end, making for really great seasonal entertainment.
Executive producer and director Jonathan Kiley and choreographer Ben Tribe have themselves an outstanding success for Qdos, in terms of performance, musicality, set design and costumes.
Jimmy Osmond doesn’t look overly comfortable in making his pantomime debut, but nonetheless is a strong star performer in terms of character, vocals and entertainment value.
Danielle York is a delightfully fresh and lively Cinderella, watched over by Emma Francis as the Fairy Godmother, who prompts plenty of laughs with her degree in wordology.
Peter Piper is a full of fun Baron Hardup who, despite the likes of his superb John Cleese impression, is wickedly outdone by the Ugly Sisters of Brian Godfrey and Darren Southworth. Both create hilariously horrible characters, made worse by their fabulously outrageous costumes.
Ryan Dawson is a young man to watch out for - his captivating speaking voice and smooth, rich singing voice as Prince Charming make this Aussie a real catch.
Andrew Stone’s Dandini is a striking performance.
This is seasonal family entertainment as its best, even producing snow for a delighted audience.
Production information can change over the run of the show.
