Dawn French has announced she will tour a new one-woman comedy show around the UK this summer, directed by Michael Grandage.
The show, 30 Million Minutes, marks her first ever solo tour and will be based on her life and career.
It will tour from June 5, beginning at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield, until August 2 when it ends its run at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford.
French said: “I’m sick with excitement about this solo tour. I am enjoying the fact that I can’t categorise exactly what it is, but it’s somewhere between a monologue, a play, and an autobiographical slide show with a few funnies thrown in.”
The show’s set and costume design is by Lez Brotherston and lighting design is by Willie Williams.
It is produced by Phil McIntyre Entertainments and the Michael Grandage Company.
