Patti LuPone is to perform a week of concerts at the Leicester Square Theatre in June this year.
The Tony and Olivier Award-winning performer will appear at the venue from June 16 until June 23.
Best known for creating the role of Fantine in the original production of Les Miserables and for playing Eva Peron on Broadway, LuPone’s 75-minute show will be hosted by actor, writer and musician Seth Rudetsky.
He will accompany LuPone on the piano and interview her about her career. The show will include music from Evita, Gypsy, Company and Anything Goes.
Meanwhile, Rudetsky, who has played the piano for productions such as The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, will present his show, Deconstructing Broadway, on June 22 at the theatre.
Rudetsky’s show will follow LuPone’s and is described as “an insightful, affectionate and hysterical take on some of the greatest musical theatre moments”.
