Scarlett Strallen and John Partridge have been cast in the forthcoming production of A Chorus Line.
Marvin Hamlisch’s musical will open at the London Palladium in February next year.
Strallen, currently appearing in Singin’ in the Rain in the West End, will play Cassie, while Partridge will take the role of Zach. Partridge is best known for his work on EastEnders, and has appeared in stage shows such as Rent and Miss Saigon.
Other cast members include Leigh Zimmerman, who will play Sheila, and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, who will perform as Diana.
Full casting will be announced shortly.
The production, which will be directed by Bob Avian, was originally planned to run at the theatre until July next year. However, it has now been announced the production is booking until January, 2014.
A Chorus Line is produced by Mark Goucher, Adam Kenwright, ACT Productions, Tim Lawson, Daniel Sparrow and Mike Walsh Productions by special arrangement with John Breglio and A Chorus Line Broadway.
