Diana Rigg joins West End Pygmalion

Diana Rigg is to appear as Mrs Higgins in the forthcoming West End production of Pygmalion.

Rigg joins the already announced Rupert Everett and Kara Tointon, who will star as Professor Henry Higgins and Eliza Dolittle.

The revival of George Bernard Shaw’s play, which is directed by Philip Prowse and premiered at Chichester Festival Theatre, will run at the Garrick Theatre from May 12 to September 3 with press night on May 25.

It is produced in the West End by Duncan C. Weldon and Paul Elliott, Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer for Nimax Theatres, Michael Edwards and Carole Winter for MJE Productions and the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company.
