ROH appoints Kasper Holten as new opera boss
Kasper Holten has been appointed director of opera at the Royal Opera House, and will succeed Elaine Padmore when she leaves at the end of the season.
Holten is currently the artistic director of Royal Danish Opera, a post he has held since 2000.
His productions include Wagner’s Ring in Copenhagen and A Clockwork Orange in Stockholm.
