McCrory, who appeared in The Queen and the Harry Potter film series, will be joined by Robert Glenister, who is a series regular on TV series Spooks and Hustle.

Peter Sullivan, who recently appeared in the National Theatre’s The Power of Yes, and Eleanor Bron complete the cast alongside three child actors, who will alternate the role of Holly.

The Donmar’s production of The Late Middle Classes marks its London premiere. It was originally directed by Harold Pinter for the Palace Theatre in Watford in 1999. The play, by Simon Gray, deals with the middle classes in 1950s England.

David Leveaux will direct the production, which runs from May 27 to July 17, with press night on June 1.
