Trevor Eve to star in ITV hostage drama
Trevor Eve, Helen Baxendale and John Hannah are to star in a new ITV hostage drama.
The three-part series, called Kidnap and Ransom, is being made by Eve’s production company Projector Pictures, in association with Talkback Thames.
Kidnap and Ransom has been written by Patrick Harbinson, whose credits include ER and 24, and stars Eve as a hostage negotiator called Dominic King.
Talkback Thames chief executive Lorraine Heggessey said: “I’m delighted to be working with Trevor again. Not only is he one of this country’s most talented actors, he’ll also bring to this project his strong editorial expertise, to what is a very exciting and thrilling script.”
