David Essex’s All The Fun of The Fair is to transfer to the West End at the Garrick Theatre this April.
The show, which is written by and stars Essex, will preview from April 17 and run until September 5 with press night on April 28.
The show’s book is by Jon Conway and it is directed by David Gilmore, with designs by Colin Richmond, lighting by Ben Cracknell and sound by Steve Jonas. It is produced in the West End by Alan Darlow, Conway and Lee Dean.
The musical drama features a soundtrack of Essex’s most well-known songs which he re-wrote and arranged specifically for the production. These include Winter’s Tale, Hold Me Close, Me And My Girl Nightclubbing, Silver Dream Machine, Gonna Make You A Star, Rock On and the title track, All The Fun of the Fair.
