A revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Anyone Can Whistle is to be staged at off-West End venue Jermyn Street Theatre to mark the composer’s 80th birthday.

Fascinating Aida member Issy van Randwyck will star in the production alongside David Ricardo-Pearce and Rosalie Craig.

Director Tom Littler previously worked on Sondheim’s Saturday Night, which was also staged at Jermyn Street Theatre, and recently directed Bryony Lavery’s Origin of the Species at the Arcola Theatre.

Anyone Can Whistle will run from March 10 to April 17. Sondheim’s 80th birthday is on March 22, 2010.
