Kafka’s Monkey, starring Kathryn Hunter, has been announced as the fourth and final title in the opening season of Digital Theatre - a new internet download service featuring filmed versions of theatre productions.

The one-woman show, which was performed at the Young Vic, is now available to purchase. It follows Far From The Madding Crowd, The Container and Parlour Song - the other three plays in Digital Theatre’s inaugural season.

Launched earlier this year by Robert Delamere and Tom Shaw with an investment of more than £1 million, Digital Theatre and its first five creative partner theatres - the Almeida Theatre Company, English Touring Theatre, the Royal Court Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Young Vic – produce downloadable theatre productions filmed in front of live audiences for users to download and keep at a cost of £8.99.
