Twofour’s Wright joins Foyle’s War company Greenlit

Jo Wright, currently head of drama at independent company Twofour, is to join Foyle’s War production house Greenlit Rights as an executive producer.

As part of her appointment, Wright will take with her Twofour’s drama slate including The Retun of the Famour Five - a mystery featuring Enid Blyton’s characters as adults - and a contemporary crime serial.

Wright will continue to develop Twofour’s slate, through Greenlit, with both receiving a share of the revenues.

Target Entertainment Group, which owns Greenlit, will have first refusal for international distribution.

Jill Green, managing director of Greenlit Rights, said: “Jo is an outstanding executive producer with a range of high profile dramas and experience to her name, Greenlit is expanding very quickly right now, so it makes total sense to have her at the helm working with me on both the UK and USA business as well as still running a very interesting Twofour slate through Greenlit.”

Wright has held a number of senior roles at both broadcasters and independent production companies.

She is a former head of drama series for the BBC, where she was responsible for shows such as EastEnders, Casualty, This Life, and Silent Witness.
