The stage version of Rain Man, based on the Oscar-winning film, is to tour the UK from August, starring Men Behaving Badly actor Neil Morrissey.
Morrissey will appear as Raymond Babbitt, the part made famous by Dustin Hoffman, while Oliver Chris will play Charlie, the role taken by Tom Cruise in the film version.
The stage adaptation recently premiered in the West End, featuring Josh Hartnett and Adam Godley. This touring version of the show is directed by Robin Herford with design by Jonathan Fensom, lighting design by Jason Taylor and sound by Gregory Clarke. It is produced by Nica Burns, Jane Walmsley, Michael Braham, Max Weitzenhoffer and Kenny Wax in association with MGM on Stage, Darcie Denkert and Dean Stolber.
Rain Man will open at Bath Theatre Royal on August 26 and tour across 13 UK venues until November 28.
