Su Pollard is set to take to the stage in the London transfer of sixties inspired musical Shout! for a ten-week run at the Arts Theatre from April 17.
The production of Shout! was first seen at London’s Jermyn Street Theatre in 2001. Last year, it launched a major UK tour starring Pollard and Claire Sweeney.
Shout! is based on an original idea by Phillip George and David Lowenstein, and has been adapted for UK audiences by Julie Balloo. It tells the story of three young girls in the sixties who arrive in London to try their luck in the big city.
The show, directed and choreographed by Bill Deamer, features 30 of the decade’s biggest hits including Son of A Preacher Man, I Just Don’t What To Do With Myself, and These Boots Were Made for Walking.
Further casting will be announced shortly.
