Five to broadcast documentary on Brand and Ross’ week from hell

Five is to examine the impact the controversy surrounding Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand will have on the presenters in a documentary to be aired next week.

Called Russell and Ross - What the F*** Was That All About?, the hour-long show will feature an exclusive interview with Georgina Baillie, the granddaughter of actor Andrew Sachs.

Ross and Brand left lewd messages on Sachs’ answer phone, in which they said Brand had slept with Baillie.

Public outcry over the nature of the messages has left Ross suspended from all broadcasting on the BBC for three months, and saw Brand resign from his Radio 2 show - during which the messages to Sachs were broadcast on October 18.

The documentary is being made by Zig Zag Productions and will also feature previously unseen footage of Baillie as she performs with her four-piece burlesque dance group, Satanic Sluts Extreme. It will also feature contributions from some of Brand’s former colleagues and will be broadcast on Wednesday, November 5 at 10pm.
