Izzard is bringing his new show Stripped to London following a 34-stop US tour. It will play from November 17 to December 12.

The comedian’s previous West End appearances include David Mamet’s The Cryptogram and Peter Nichols’ A Day in the Death of Joe Egg. He also made his West End stand-up debut at the Ambassadors in 1993.

Izzard’s show replaces Take That musical Never Forget, which had been due to transfer to the Lyric on November 20. Earlier this week, producers announced that those plans had been scrapped and it would now close, before embarking on a UK tour in the new year.
