The Traverse proved successful again, with two of its shows picking up prizes - physical theatre piece Once and For All We’re Gonna Tell You Who We Are So Shut Up And Listen, by Ontroerend, Goed, Kopergietery and Richard Jordan Productions, and Slick by Vox Motus and Tron Theatre.

Meanwhile, Little Bulb Theatre’s Crocosmia, Redcape’s The Idiot Colony and Temple Theatre of Philadelphia’s In Conflict were also recipients of the Fringe First.

All five companies were presented their award - which recognise outstanding new writing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe - by theatre star Simon Callow at The Scotsman Fringe Awards this morning.
