Kelly Brook and Alan Dale are to join the cast of ITV’s Moving Wallpaper.

The pair will join show regulars Ben Miller, as producer Jonathan Pope, and Raquel Cassidy as ITV1’s head of continuing drama, Nancy Weeks.

Brook and Dale, who was in Ugly Betty and who recently starred as King Arthur in Spamalot, will appear in the series as actors who star in one of Pope’s new productions, Renaissance.

In Renaissance, Dale and Brook are passengers on a plane which is attacked by zombies. The drama will be shown as a one-off on ITV1.

Both shows are produced by Kudos in Association with Red Planet Pictures.

Tony Jordan, co-creator of Life On Mars and creator of Hustle, will executive produce both shows with Kudos’ Jane Featherstone and Alison Jackson.

The second series of Moving Wallpaper will be six 30 minute episodes that will be broadcast on ITV1.
