The Two and Only to close early

Tony Award-winning ventriloquism show The Two and Only has posted early closing notices at the Arts Theatre and will end its run this Sunday, July 13.

The show, which is produced by Clayton Collier Theatrical, Stewart F Lane/Bonnie Comley, Tiger WGP and Martin Witts, had been due to run until September 28, but will now close after less than three weeks of performances.

It becomes the second show to post early closing notices at the Arts during the last fortnight. Last month, All Bob’s Women closed less than a week after opening, following a mauling from critics.

Notices for The Two and Only had been much kinder, but it has still been forced to close due to poor ticket sales.
