Burns, Day and Wilson set up new theatre PR agency

Published Tuesday 8 July 2008 at 18:55 by Alistair Smith

West End publicists David Burns, Greg Day and Kevin Wilson have united to form a new theatre and entertainment PR agency, Clout Communications.

The company, which began trading in March, but officially launched this month, has clients including Derren Brown, Joan Rivers, Nimax and the Leicester Square Theatre.

Burns is the former number two at Avalon Public Relations and was formerly press and marketing manager at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group, Day was a head of entertainment PR for Channel 4 and head of comedy and drama PR at FIVE and Wilson has worked on many West End and fringe theatre shows and was last year named West End PR of the Year in the Fringe Report Awards.

Day said: “Clients can expect a bold, decisive, receptive and imaginative level of service that will represent excellent value for money”.
