Judi Dench presented this year’s Lilian Baylis Awards for the most promising second year drama students in London.
Dench, herself a former student at Central, made the presentation at the Old Vic Theatre. Its artistic director Kevin Spacey is patron of the Royal Victoria Hall Foundation, which administers the awards, worth £1,500 each.
This year’s winners are Joanne Dockery (Rose Bruford), Cesare Taurasi (Artsed), Anna McSweeney (Guildhall), Claire Atha (RADA), Laura-Kate Davies (Mountview), Lucy Pearman (LAMDA), Anna-Marlene Wirtz (Italia Conti), Natalie Thomas (Drama Centre), Shereenahana Glean (Central) Liam Lavery (East 15), Natasha Vieira (ALRA).
