Pop group the Bee Gees have confirmed that they are planning a new stage show based on their back catalogue.
The Bee Gees
Long-running production Saturday Night Fever already features a number of their most famous songs - including Stayin’ Alive, Tragedy and Jive Talkin’. However, band member Robin Gibb has revealed that another show fashioned from their back catalogue could hit the West End or Broadway within the next 12 to 16 months.
The singer made the announcement while unveiling a green plaque at the former home of the band’s manager and producer Robert Stigwood in London, honouring the group’s achievements. Stigwood was also a producer on the musical Saturday Night Fever.
A new Bee Gees musical was first proposed by Gibb around three years ago, when it was reported to have the working title You Win Again.
