Playwright Willy Russell and lyricist Don Black will talk to Elaine Paige about their theatre careers, as part of a new series of lunchtime events organised by the Shaw Theatre in London.
Called Spotlight On, the series will see a different artist interviewed by Paige each month at the venue, with Black launching the programme on Thursday, April 17.
Black, who is 70 this year, has written for shows including Sunset Boulevard and Aspects of Love and will share anecdotes about his career.
This will be followed in May by Paige in conversation with songwriting team George Stiles and Anthony Drewe - who won a Laurence Olivier Award for Honk! in 2000 - and in June by performer Michael Ball.
Russell, writer of Blood Brothers, has been confirmed to take part at a later date.
The series has been devised by Paige with producer Neil Marcus, who said that the lunchtime slots were designed to accommodate performers who would not usually be able to attend evening events.
Tickets are priced at £15 and more information can be found at www.theshawtheatre.com.
