My Family actor Kris Marshall and Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page are set to appear in the UK premiere of Fat Pig, written and directed by Neil LaBute, from May 16 at the Trafalgar Studios.

Marshall was recently seen playing alongside Billie Piper in West End show Treats, while Page appeared with Ian McKellen in the Old Vic production of Aladdin.

Robert Webb, one half of comedy duo Mitchell and Webb, and Ella Smith who was a regular in television drama series Cape Wrath, will also appear in the new play.

Fat Pig will run for a limited season until September 6. It will be produced by Howard Panter for the Ambassador Theatre Group and Broadway producer Barry Weissler, responsible for the New York and London hit musical Chicago.
