Rich-Conway joins Red Planet Pictures

Red Planet Pictures, the production company set up by former EastEnders writer Tony Jordan, has appointed Carly Rich-Conway as drama development executive.

Rich-Conway joins the company from independent producing house Wall to Wall, where she was script editor on a number of drama projects it currently has in development.

Her script editing credits include New Tricks and at Red Planet Pictures she will be responsible for working on the company’s existing development slate as well as on new projects.

The new appointment follows on from two hirings Jordan announced last year, which saw Simon Winstone join as head of drama and Claire Phillips as a drama executive.

Earlier this month, Jordan also announced that Joanna Leigh had won The Red Planet Prize, an initiative that will see her work closely with the company on new projects.

Jordan said: “Carly will be another great asset to Red Planet Pictures’ ever-expanding production family. The company is brimming with creative talent; both Carly and Joanna are young and hugely gifted and I’m looking forward to Carly bringing a whole new perspective to our development slate.”
