Dale to join West End Spamalot cast

Published Wednesday 30 January 2008 at 13:35 by Miranda Bryant

Ugly Betty star Alan Dale has been confirmed as the latest addition to the London production of Spamalot.

The actor, who played media mogul Bradford Meade in the US comedy, will be following in the steps of Tim Curry and Simon Russell Beale when he takes over from Peter Davison as King Arthur at the Palace Theatre on March 3.

Dale, who also played Jim Robinson for eight years in Neighbours, will be performing alongside Robert Hands, Steven Kynman, Graham MacDuff and the eventual winner of Swedish TV reality show West End Star, who will play The Lady in the Lake.
