Brian Wilson to play at English National Ballet fundraiser

Pop musician Brian Wilson is set to perform with English National Ballet as part of the company’s royal gala evening on November 11.

The former bassist and singer of The Beach Boys, along with his band, will close the fundraising event with a set of old hits.

As part of a creative collaboration with Wilson, ENB will create a unique dance piece for the gala be set to the musician’s song God Only Knows.

The winter fundraiser will celebrate ENB’s new production of The Snow Queen, and will be hosted by Angela Rippon.

A spokesperson for Wilson commented: “Brian is very excited and honoured to be asked to perform on this royal evening with the English National Ballet. Brian is also very much looking forward to seeing English National Ballet perform his favourite composition.”
