Gone with the Wind hits West End in April

Trevor Nunn’s production of a new musical adaptation of Gone with the Wind has confirmed it will open at the New London Theatre on April 22 following previews from April 5.

Directed by Nunn, the production will also involve set designer John Napier, costume designer Andreane Neofitou lighting designer Neil Austin and sound by Paul Groothius.

Gareth Valentine will serve as musical supervisor and arranger and David Bolger will be movement director.

Gone with the Wind is produced by Aldo Scrofani for Columbia Artists Theatricals of New York and UK producer Colin Ingram.

Book and lyrics are by Margaret Martin adapted by Trevor Nunn and music by Martin. It is her first musical theatre project.
