Jane Eyre actress Wilson presents Lilian Baylis Awards

Published Tuesday 12 June 2007 at 12:25 by Nuala Calvi

Ruth Wilson, star of the BBC’s Jane Eyre, has presented this year’s Lilian Baylis Awards for the most promising second year drama students in London.

The £1,400 prizes are given to students from accredited drama schools who show outstanding talent, but need help finding their remaining course fees. The awards are organised by the Royal Victoria Hall Foundation.

Wilson, who herself graduated from LAMDA in 2005, made the presentations at a ceremony at the Old Vic theatre.
