The production, which features holograms, virtual reality, multimedia sound and imaging, as well as theatre, dance, international music, acrobatics and video projections, will visit Manchester MEN Arena, Birmingham NIA Arena and Sheffield Hallam FM Arena from October 8 to 14.
All three venues are run by Live Nation. Phil Bowdery, vice president of touring at Live Nation, commented: “Delirium is unlike any show you have ever seen in your life. It’s awe-inspiring, innovative, and breathtaking. This unique form of visual, musical, and artistic entertainment pushes the boundaries of what people expect to see in an arena. The show has an enormous wow factor and spectacular style.”
Cirque du Soleil is a modern circus company, founded in Canada, which is best known for its large scale productions in Las Vegas. Most recently in the UK, its production of Alegria has been seen at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
