Coronation Street star Susie Blake is to take over from Miriam Margolyes as Madame Morrible in West End musical Wicked.
Blake, who is best known as Coronation Street character Beverley Unwin, will make her first appearance on April 2, with Margolyes playing her final show on March 31. Blake joins Kerry Ellis, who stars as Elphaba and Helen Dallimore, who features as Glinda.
The show is running at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre and is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Pictures, The Araca Group, Jon B Platt and David Stone.
