Wanamaker to star in The Rose Tattoo at the NT
Zoe Wanamaker is confirmed to lead the cast of Tennessee Williams’ classic The Rose Tattoo at the National Theatre.

Former associate director of the Royal Shakespeare Company Steven Pimlott will direct the revival as part of the £10 Travelex scheme, now in its fifth year.
The show will open at the Olivier Theatre from March 29, following previews from March 19.
The Rose Tattoo was first staged on Broadway in 1951 and was adapted into an Oscar winning film four years later, starring Burt Lancaster and Anna Magnani.
Wanamaker, who picked up an Olivier award in 1997 for her performance in Electra at the Donmar Warehouse, will play the widow Serafina.
