Dirty Dancing musical line-up announced

Full casting details for the up-coming West End musical Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage were today revealed by producers.

As previously tipped, Georgina Rich will play Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman with Josef Brown as her headstrong love interest Johnny Castle. The pair are joined by David Rintoul as her father Dr Jake Houseman, Issy Van Randwyck as her mother Majorie, Isabella Calthorpe as Baby’s sister Lisa and Nadia Coote as Penny.

Nigel Williams plays Max Kellerman, with Rae Baker as Vivian, Billy Boyle as Mr Schumacher, Richard Dempsey as Neil Kellerman, Jason Griffiths as Moe Pressman, Richard Lloyd King as Tito Suarez, Ben Mingay as Billy, Richard O’Brien as Robbie, Brian Saccente as Stan and Ursula Smith as Mrs Schumacher.

The stage version of the hit film opens in six weeks at London’s Aldwych Theatre and has already taken £6 million at the box office.
