West End leading lady Rebecca Thornhill, star of shows such as Chicago and Showboat, is set to bring her one-woman play Showstopper to the Jermyn Street Theatre.

Written by Dan Rebellato, the show is a comedy about the golden age of Hollywood and follows lead character Carol James and her attempts to make it in the movie business alongside her idol Audrey Hepburn.

The Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds production was originally directed by Pip Minnithorpe and dedicated to the legendary dubbing singer Marni Nixon.

Showstopper will run at the Jermyn Street Theatre August 8-13.
