The Donmar Warehouse’s production of A Voyage Round My Father, starring Derek Jacobi, will transfer to the Wyndham’s Theatre this September.

Directed by Thea Sharrock, the play by John Mortimer will open on September 21, following previews from September 14, and runs until December 16.

The show marks the second Donmar production to transfer to the West End under artistic director Michael Grandage - Schiller’s Mary Stuart enjoyed a run at the Apollo Theatre beginning in 2005.

Grandage commented: “We are thrilled to announce the West End transfer of Thea Sharrock’s production of A Voyage Round My Father. This autobiographical work by John Mortimer has delighted audiences at the Donmar and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to take it a wider audience at the Wyndham’s.”
