Pierce Brosnan’s son Sean is to make his professional theatre debut this summer, playing Romeo for the British Shakespeare Company.

Following in the footsteps of his Bond-star father, Sean B Brosnan has already appeared in several short films and a TV drama since graduating from Central School of Speech and Drama last year.

He will appear alongside Mina Anwar in the touring production of Romeo and Juliet, which begins at the Ross Open Air Theatre in Edinburgh on June 27.

The tour also includes A Midsummer Night’s Dream, starring Anwar as Titania and Wayne Sleep as Puck.
