Ex-Brookside star Ellison, who previously appeared in the show in 2004, will reprise the role of Roxie Hart for a limited five-week season starting on July 10.

Meanwhile, Danesh, who came to public attention through reality TV show Pop Idol, will return as Billy Flynn for a three-week run from June 17 to July 8, having played the part before in 2005. When Danesh leaves the cast, Ian Kelsey will take on as Flynn until August 12.

Amra-Faye Wright and Victor Maguire will continue as Velma Kelly and Amos Hart respectively.

Chicago is running at the Cambridge Theatre and currently stars Bonnie Langford, who has extended her run until July 8.
